Differential Dysregulation of Subcortical Synaptic Plasticity After TBI

This study focuses on the interaction of stress and injury to exacerbate injury-induced changes to brain structures distal to the injury site (prefrontal cortex). The investigation targets the amygdala and hippocampus. By inducing stress, we hope to find neuronal plasticity within the structure.
